番禺洛浦街上漖村龙船制作以精湛技艺闻名，在这里走出的龙舟屡屡夺冠，曾经诞生过上百条“冠军龙”。 采访时，每每提及自己打造的龙舟在比赛中夺冠，工匠们都不自觉地露出自豪的表情。
Shangjiao is famous for its exquisite dragon boat making skills. The dragon boats that have been built here have repeatedly won championships, and hundreds of “champion dragons” have been born here. During interviews, whenever the craftsmen mentioned the championships won by the dragon boats they built, they couldn’t help but show a proud expression.
上漖村何以成为“冠军龙”的诞生地？秘诀在于匠心传承。古老船厂里没有太多现代工具，工作环境也不舒适，工匠们熟练掌握祖辈流传下来的独门手艺，以更坚固、更快速为目标，一锤一刀，专心造好一条龙舟。
How did Shangjiao become the birthplace of “champion dragons”? The secret lies in the inheritance of craftsmanship. In the ancient boat workshops, there are not many modern tools, and the working environment is not comfortable. The craftsmen master the unique skills passed down from their ancestors, aiming to make the boats stronger and faster. With every hammer and chisel, they focus on building a perfect dragon boat.
在我们为龙舟一举夺魁鼓掌时，还应该记住背后有一群“造龙人”。 他们以匠心、以传承助力广东龙舟踏浪前行，不断“拼”出新速度。
As we applaud the dragon boats for winning championships, we should also remember the group of “dragon makers” behind them. They contribute their craftsmanship and inheritance to help Guangdong’s dragon boats ride the waves and continuously fight for new speeds.
